To complete the job you will need an assistant and a strong cord.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the luggage compartment shelf.
3. Fold the rear seat.
4. Unscrew the bolt of the upper seat belt mount (see "Tailgate - Removal and Installation"). Similarly, unscrew the bolt securing the seat belt inertia reel.
5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the left rear body panel trim and the four screws securing the left support of the luggage compartment shelf.
Note: If a speaker is installed in the luggage compartment shelf support, disconnect the wire tips from its terminals. After assembly, the wires must be connected, observing the polarity (positive terminal of larger speaker).
6. Carefully remove the rear edge of the left support from under the rear body panel trim and remove the left support of the luggage compartment shelf (the seat belt does not need to be removed from the support hole).
7. On vAZ-2114 car using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw that secures the intermediate pillar trim...
...and, moving it upwards, remove the cover.
On vAZ-2113 car key by 17 mm unscrew the seat belt mounting bolt (2). Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw (3) and remove the retainer (1) for fastening the middle pillar trim.
We move it upward and remove the cover.
8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws and remove the rear pillar trim (see "Tailgate - Removal and Installation").

9. Remove the glass from the opening in the same way as shown with the windshield (see "Windshield - Replacement").
10. Clean the seal and glass from dirt and sealant residue.
Installation
1. Install the glass into the opening in the same way as shown with the windshield (see "Windshield - Replacement").
2. Install the pillar pads in the order in which they were removed.
3. Using a slotted screwdriver, adjust the inner edge of the glass seal (the edge of the seal should be located on top of the linings, upholstery and ceiling).
4. Install the luggage compartment shelf support and secure the left edge of the rear body panel trim with self-tapping screws.
