To complete the work you will need a wooden strip about 1 m long.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Open the trunk door and install a wooden strip as a stop.
3. With an open-end wrench by 13 mm we first unscrew the lower and then the upper ball joints of the stop and remove the stop from the car.
Installation
We install the gas strut in the reverse order.
