The basis of maintenance is regular washing and treatment with special protective compounds. The body can be washed at a specialized car wash (only manually, without using mechanical brushes) or independently in specially designated places.
To wash yourself, you will need a bucket and two brushes: a large one with long soft bristles (better with a long handle) for washing the body and a small one with hard bristles for washing the front and rear panels of the body and wheel disks. You will also need several rags. Do not wash the car in the sun, as well as in a dusty place in a strong wind.
Warnings! Do not wipe dust and dirt from the body with a dry cloth - you can scratch the paintwork.
It is prohibited to use gasoline, kerosene, soda and sea water for washing.
You cannot wash the body in very frosty weather or drive a car with a wet body in freezing weather: when water freezes, microcracks may form on the paint surface.
Do not use gasoline or solvent to clean plastic parts.
First, pour two or three buckets of water over the body to soften the dust and dirt. Then dilute a special car shampoo in the bucket according to the instructions for use (for bodies painted with metallic paint, buy a special one with a drying effect).
Apply the shampoo with a brush, do not use a cloth or sponge: they retain particles of sand and dust, which leave micro-scratches on the paintwork of the body, causing it to become dull. When applying the shampoo, you can lightly rub the surfaces of the body.

Pour one or two buckets of water over the body, removing excess shampoo. Then, after rinsing the brush, use it to finally wash the body with clean water.
Let the body dry for 3-5 minutes and wipe dry, removing streaks and traces of water drips. Glass and dashboard can be additionally cleaned with special detergents and polishes. The same can be done with fabric upholstery, which is not a bad idea to vacuum from time to time.
After washing, it is useful to treat the body with special polishes in accordance with the instructions for their use (see table below).
Helpful hints: We recommend using a vacuum cleaner to clean upholstery parts and seats.
Remove greasy stains from upholstery with soapy water or special interior cleaning products.
It is better to wash the glass with a soft cloth soaked in water with the addition of windshield washer fluid.
Wash the wheel arches either with a jet of water under pressure or with a hair brush. The underbody is conveniently washed with a hair brush.
We recommend washing the underbody at least once a year, preferably before winter operation, before restoring the anti-corrosion coating. Periodically wash the underbody and wheel arches in winter to clean them from salt.
