Cleaning drainage holes (VAZ-2115)

During operation, moisture accumulates in the cavities of the thresholds and doors, causing corrosion. Drainage holes located at the bottom of the thresholds and doors are designed to remove moisture. They are constantly clogged with dirt, so clean them every 15,000 km. When operating the car on country roads, perform this operation more often.

You will need a thin screwdriver.

1. Clean the drainage holes in each threshold.



2. Clean the drainage holes in each door in the same way.

Helpful Hint: Use plastic or wooden mandrels of the appropriate size to clean the drain holes of the car body so as not to damage the paintwork of the car body.
