Lubrication of body fittings (VAZ-2115)

To increase the service life of the body, periodically lubricate the rubbing parts (at least every 15,000 km or once a year). If creaking or sticking occurs, immediately clean the relevant parts with aerosol lubricant (VTV-1 or similar), as shown in the photos, and then apply the lubricant recommended in the vehicle lubrication chart.

The body must be lubricated at the following points:

1. Door hinges (vTV-1 grease in aerosol packaging).



2. Door stops (lubricant CV joint-4, CV joint-4M or MOLIKOT VN 2461C).



3. Door locks (vTV-1 grease in aerosol packaging).



4. Tailgate lock cylinders…





5. …and side front doors (vTV-1 grease in aerosol packaging).



6. Hood lock (vTV-1 grease in aerosol packaging).



7. Hood hinges (vTV-1 grease in aerosol packaging).
