Before washing your car, clean the drainage holes in the doors and sills (see subsection 4.4.).
To wash your car, use either clean water or water with added car shampoo.
Attention! Do not wipe dust and dirt from the body with a dry cloth - you can scratch the paintwork.
Warning! Do not use gasoline, kerosene, soda or sea water for washing.
Attention! Do not wash the body in very frosty weather or drive a car with a wet body in the cold: when water freezes, microcracks may form on the paint surface.
Caution! Do not use gasoline or solvent to clean plastic parts.
1. We recommend washing the body in the shade, as if the paintwork dries quickly under direct sunlight, light spots will remain on the body. If possible, wash the body with water from a hose and a soft sponge.
2. Thoroughly wash the joints of body parts and welded seams, as well as the areas where the doors and hood are rolled up.
3. When washing the engine compartment, water should not get on the electrical components. We recommend using special products for cleaning the engine. After washing, blow or wipe dry the electrical components.
4. It is better to wash the glass with a soft cloth soaked in water with the addition of windshield washer fluid.
5. We recommend using a vacuum cleaner to clean the interior upholstery and seats. Remove greasy stains from the upholstery with a soap solution or special interior cleaning products.
6. Wash the wheel arches either with a jet of water under pressure or with a hair brush. It is convenient to wash the underbody with a hair brush. We recommend washing the underbody at least once a year, preferably before the start of winter operation, before restoring the anti-corrosion coating. Periodically wash the underbody and wheel arches in winter to clean them from salt.
