Fastening of body parts and components, checking of locks, cleaning of drainage holes of doors and thresholds (VAZ-2109)

Tighten the fastenings of the hood, front doors, tailgate, door and hood locks, seat runners and interior heater. It is also necessary to check all fastenings of units and assemblies installed on the body.

After tightening the lock fasteners, check the reliability of their locking. If necessary, adjust the position of the locks and their latches. Adjustments are given in the description of the lock device.

Check and, if necessary, clean the door drainage holes located at the lower ends and the door sill holes. Access to the sill holes is from the underbody side (five holes at each threshold). Do not clean holes with a metal tool or wire; use only soft wood cleaning tools.
