Heating the car interior (VAZ-21051)

To heat the car interior and protect the windshield, front door windows, and rear window from fogging and freezing:

• move levers 6 and 7 to the right (see Fig. Interior ventilation and heating controls 1 and fig. Interior ventilation and heating controls 2);
• set lever 5 to the middle position;
• open the heater air distribution cover with lever 3;
• turn on the rear window heating;
• turn on the heater electric fan if necessary;
• turn the side vent guide vanes so that the air flow is directed towards the front door windows.

Warm air will be directed both to the driver and passenger footwells, as well as to the windshield and front door windows.

To heat only the windshield more quickly, close the heater cover and move lever 5 to the right.
