
Using a screwdriver, remove the protective cap from the end of the cylinder.

Using an awl, we remove the lock washer...

...and we take out the fitting with the sealing gasket.

Clamping the cylinder in a vice, use a 22 mm wrench to unscrew the plug.

Using a puller or a thin screwdriver, remove the retaining ring...

...and we remove the parts from the cylinder body.
Carefully inspect the parts. The cylinder mirror and the outer surface of the pistons should not have any scratches or other damage. If the return spring is deformed or has noticeably reduced elasticity, it should be replaced. Be sure to replace the rubber sealing rings. Replace the damaged protective cap. The nipple lock washer cannot be reused either.
After thoroughly washing the parts with brake fluid, we assemble the cylinder in the reverse order of disassembly.
