Disconnect the driveline from the gearbox (see Replacing the driveline), clutch slave cylinder (see Clutch Slave Cylinder Replacement).
We remove the wire lugs from the terminals of the reverse light switch (see Reversing light switch replacement).
We disconnect the clutch housing from the cylinder block, and from the body - the cross member of the rear support of the power unit (see Gearbox replacement).
head «at 13» unscrew the two nuts securing the support...
...and remove it from the gearbox.
We shift the gearbox back until the gear knob stops in the back of the floor hole.
The gearbox will be held in place by the downpipe of the muffler. We additionally put a reliable stop under the back of the box.
Holding the flywheel with a mounting spatula, wrench «at 13» unscrew the six bolts securing the clutch cover, turning the crankshaft to access them.
Move the clutch pressure plate...
... remove the slave..
...and clutch pressure plates.
Pulling out of the crankcase, remove the clutch release fork, remove the clutch release bearing from the gearbox input shaft.
Install the clutch parts in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, wipe the working surfaces of the flywheel, pressure and driven discs with a cloth soaked in gasoline. We center the drive and driven disks relative to the bearing at the end of the crankshaft using a mandrel that imitates the end of the gearbox input shaft (see Applications). After tightening the bolts securing the clutch housing to the flywheel, the mandrel should be freely removed from the bearing by hand.
Before installing the gearbox, lubricate the splines of the input shaft with a thin layer of SHRUS-4 grease.
Having installed the clutch, we adjust the free play of the pusher of the clutch slave cylinder (see Drive adjustment).
