Removing
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws connecting the casings and the self-tapping screw A of their fastening to the steering column switch. We take out the switch B of the emergency light signaling from the mounting hole in the casings.
3. We lower the lower casing and use wire cutters to cut the band clamp securing the wiring harness to the casing. We remove the cover.
4. Remove the sealing ring from the top casing and the ignition switch.
5. Remove the upper casing of the steering shaft from the bracket.
Installation
1. Fasten the steering column wiring harness to the lower casing of the steering shaft with a tape clamp.
2. Cut off the free end of the clamp.
3. Installation of other parts is carried out in reverse order.
