To complete the job you will need a trim holder remover.
Warning! When removing the door trim, there is a high probability of breaking its plastic holders, so before starting work, stock up on a sufficient number of new holders.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the inner trim of the outside rearview mirror (see "Outside rear view mirror - replacement of reflective element, removal and installation").
3. Using a slotted screwdriver, unscrew the three mounting screws and move the upholstery pocket slightly away.
4. After pressing the clamps, disconnect the two wiring harness connectors from the window lifter control keys.
5. Remove the upholstery pocket.
6. If there is a speaker installed in the door, remove it by unscrewing the four screws that secure it.
7. Using a screwdriver, remove the trim of the inner door lock handle.
8. Using a slotted screwdriver, pry up and remove the door handle trim.
9. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the handle and remove it.
10. Using a Phillips screwdriver (or by hand), unscrew the door lock button.
11. Using a puller or a flat-head screwdriver, insert them between the trim and the door and remove the six trim holders from the door openings one by one (the location of the holders is shown on the removed upholstery).
12. Remove the door trim.
Installation
We install the upholstery in the reverse order, replacing the damaged holders with new ones.
