Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Turn off the outside lighting.
3. Using a screwdriver, pry up and remove the license plate light from the trunk door.
4. Disconnect the wire connectors from the light and remove it.
5. Remove the second license plate light in the same way.
6. To replace the lamp, remove the rubber seal from the lamp.

7. Press the spring contacts and remove the lamp from the flashlight.
Installation
Install the license plate lights in the reverse order. When installing the light in the trunk door, first insert the right part of the light into the door opening, and then press the left part until the latch clicks into place.
