The license plate lights are installed in the recess of the rear bumper.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Turn off the outside lighting.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the license plate light from below.
4. Remove the light from the bumper hole together with the rubber protective cover.

Note: To replace the lamp, the following two operations may not be performed.
5. Remove the protective rubber cover from the flashlight and disconnect the ends of the two wires from the flashlight terminals.
6. Remove the light from the car.
7. Using a slotted screwdriver, press the lamp diffuser retainer and remove the diffuser.
8. Remove the faulty lamp from the spring contacts.
Installation
We assemble the license plate light and install it on the car in the reverse order.
