Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Turn off the outside lighting.
3. In the luggage compartment, open the valve in the decorative trim, under which the lamp is located.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the rear light.

5. Squeeze the clamps, move the contact panel away from the lamp...
...and remove it, taking it out from under the upholstery.
6. Slightly push the faulty lamp into the socket and, turning it counterclockwise, remove it from the socket.
Installation
1. Install the new lamp in reverse order and check it.
2. Insert the contact panel into the lamp housing until the fasteners snap into place and close the luggage compartment trim flap.
