Safety valve — removal and installation (VAZ-2114)

Note: The relief valve is installed behind the rear bumper on the right side. For clarity, the operation is shown with the bumper removed.

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the plastic tube of the safety valve and disconnect the tube from the valve.

3. Remove the valve from the shield and disconnect the tube from it.

Installation

We install the valve in the reverse order.
