Safety requirements

Exhaust gases are poisonous! When starting the engine in a garage or other room, ensure good ventilation or open the gate.

When starting to repair or service electrical equipment, first be sure to disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

Do not touch the ignition system components while the engine is running - it is dangerous!

When coasting, do not turn off the ignition - when turning the steering wheel, the anti-theft device in the ignition switch will be activated, blocking the steering column shaft. Your car will become uncontrollable and may cause an accident!

Leaded gasoline is poisonous, and some operating fluids (brake and cooling) toxic, so take precautions when refueling and servicing your vehicle. Avoid contact with leaded gasoline on your hands and face, especially in your mouth, and on clothing and upholstery.

It is prohibited to operate the engine with the low oil pressure lamp on. It should be on briefly (no more than 2 sec) light up only when the engine is started.

Before jacking up the vehicle, be sure to place wheel chocks under the wheels on the opposite side, and apply the parking brake before jacking up the front of the vehicle.

Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Be sure to support the vehicle. Use industrially manufactured supports.

Smoking and open flames are prohibited when refueling and servicing the vehicle. Keep a working fire extinguisher and a first aid kit with suitable medications "on hand".

It is prohibited to check the operation of the generator by disconnecting the wires from the battery, as well as the functionality of the ignition system "for a spark".

Operating recommendations

Carry out maintenance and repairs to your vehicle during the warranty period only at service stations with a mandatory note on the work performed in the service book coupons, otherwise you will lose the warranty on your vehicle.

When the starter is engaged, the gearshift lever must be in neutral position.

Before driving, warm up the engine at idle speed, since running an unheated engine at high crankshaft speed reduces its service life.

It is forbidden to start the car from a place "on the starter". Start moving only in first gear with the parking brake completely released, smoothly releasing the clutch pedal.

Avoid driving on roads with poor surface quality at high speeds, as sudden impacts lead to deformation of the chassis and body components of the vehicle.

Do not exceed the load capacity standards specified in the vehicle's technical specifications. Overloading leads to increased wear of tires and suspension components, as well as loss of vehicle stability.

Check the air pressure in your tires regularly. Low pressure causes intensive tire wear. A difference in tire pressure of 0.2-0.3 kgf/cm² significantly worsens the car's handling.

For refueling, use fuels, lubricants and operating fluids recommended by the manufacturer.

Regularly check the condition of the protective covers of the steering rack, constant velocity joints (CV joints), ball joints, and steering rod joints. Replace damaged covers, as water and dirt will quickly disable the mechanisms.

Regularly check the condition of the battery terminals and the fastening of the wires on them. Loose fastening of the wires or oxidation of the terminals can damage the electronic devices of the car.
