Removal and installation the door opening limiter (VAZ-2115)

The replacement of the front door opening limiter is shown using the example of a VAZ-2114 car. The rear door opening limiter on VAZ-2115 and VAZ-2114 cars is replaced in a similar way.

You will need: a 13 mm socket head, a ratchet, and a punch.

1. Remove the front door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").

2. Remove the two bolts securing the limiter to the front left door panel.



3. Remove the pin from the limiter eye.



4. Remove the limiter through the window in the door panel.



5. Install the limiter in the reverse order of removal; if necessary, lubricate the limiter guide with any plastic grease.
