1. Remove the front mudguards (see "Removal and installation front mudguards").
2. Remove both fog lights (see "Replacing the fog light").
3. Remove the two bolts securing the front license plate and remove it.
4. Unscrew the two bolts securing the bumper trim to the amplifier, holding the nuts of the bolts from the inside with a second wrench.
5. Unscrew the two nuts securing the left…
6. …and the right bumper trim brackets.
7. Carefully pull the side part of the trim to the side and remove the bumper trim mounting pins from the holes in the mudguard.
8. Holding the bumper trim, similarly remove the bumper trim mounting pins from the holes in the body mudguard on the opposite side..
9. …and remove the trim.
10. Unscrew the two nuts securing the bumper beam to the body brackets…
11. …and remove the beam.
12. If necessary, remove the right and left front bumper mounting brackets by unscrewing two bolts and unscrewing the nuts securing the brackets to the body.
Note: Please note that the left bracket mounting nut also additionally secures the ambient air temperature sensor bracket.
13. Install the removed front bumper parts in the reverse order of removal.
