The circuit for charging the battery, the circuit for ignition and starting the engine, and the generator are not protected by fuses.
Electric motors of gearmotors (windscreen cleaners, tailgate windows, headlights) protected by automatic bimetal fuses.
The power supply circuit of the injection system is protected by a fusible link made of 1 mm wire2.
Powerful Consumers (starter, lights) connected via relay.
The fog lights in the rear lights and the fog light warning light are protected by a separate fuse located in a plastic case in the wiring harness near the fog light switch. This fuse is 8A.
Before replacing a blown fuse, find out the cause of its blown and eliminate it. When troubleshooting, it is recommended to look at the ones indicated in the table (see «Electrical faults») the circuits that this fuse protects.
Most of the fuses and auxiliary relays are located in a separate mounting block installed in the air intake box on the left side of the vehicle.
Block 2114-3722010 is installed on cars with knife-type fuses and compact relays.
Mounting block 2114-3722010: K1 - relay for switching on headlight cleaners; K2 - relay-interrupter of direction indicators and alarm; K3 - windshield wiper relay; K4 - lamp health monitoring relay; K5 - power window relay; K6 - relay for turning on sound signals; K7 - relay for turning on the electric heating of the rear window; K8 - high beam headlight relay; K9 - relay for turning on the dipped headlights; F1–F20 - fuses
Through the mounting block, the wires of the engine compartment are connected to the wires of the instrument panel and the car interior. The location of the blocks and the conditional numbers of the plugs in the connecting blocks of the mounting block are shown in fig. below:
Conventional numbering of plugs in the blocks of the mounting block for connecting wires in the engine compartment: Ш-5 and Ш-6 - blocks for connecting the front wiring harness; Sh-7 and Sh-8 - blocks for connecting the wiring harness of the left mudguard; Sh-11 - block for connecting the wiring harness of the air intake box
Conventional numbering of plugs in the blocks of the mounting block for connecting wires in the cabin: Sh-1–Sh-4 and Sh-3–Sh-2 - blocks connected to the wiring harness of the instrument panel; Sh-9 and Sh-10 - pads connected to the rear wiring harness
The diagram of the internal connections of the mounting block is shown in the following figure:

Warning! Do not replace fuses with jumpers or fuses of a different amperage rating as this may damage the electrical equipment.
Helpful advice. Relay type 111.3734, installed in the mounting block, often fail due to burnt contacts. Remove the relay, remove the protective cover from it and clean the contacts with fine-grained sandpaper.
