Attention! All work related to the replacement of fuses and relays must be carried out only after disconnecting the wire from the battery terminal.
Attention! Before replacing a fuse, the cause of the blown fuse must be determined and repaired. To avoid failure of the elements of the engine control system, fuses with an increased rating or home-made fuses should not be installed.
Brown fuses have a rating of 7.5 A, blue fuses have a rating of 15 A.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Vehicle preparation for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal (see "Battery - removal and installation").
3. Key for 8 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the fuse and relay bracket and remove the bracket.
4. Using special tweezers placed in the mounting block, hook the fuse and remove it from the connector.
5. A faulty fuse is determined by a blown thread.
6. We install a working fuse in the contact connector of the block and, pressing the finger of our hand, we sink it until it stops.
7. To replace the relay with a socket wrench for 8 mm unscrew the nut of its fastening.
8. We take out the relay from the contact socket.
9. Install a working relay in the connector.
10. Installation of the block bracket is carried out in reverse order.
