Opening and closing the hood (VAZ-2115)

To gain access to the engine compartment, pull the hood release handle towards you…



…and lift the hood. Through the resulting gap, press the lever 1 of the safety hook (for clarity, the photo was taken on an open hood), lift and install stop 2 into the special socket on the hood.
