Adjusting the position of the steering wheel (VAZ-2115)

The car is equipped with a steering column adjustable for tilt. Before driving, adjust the steering wheel position so that it is comfortable to drive the car and at the same time the instruments in the car are clearly visible combinations.

Note: We recommend adjusting the steering wheel position after the seat has been adjusted to a comfortable position (see "Adjusting the position of the front seats").

Warning! Adjust the steering wheel position only when the vehicle is stationary. If you try to adjust the steering wheel while driving and the steering column is not firmly locked and it moves unexpectedly, you may lose control of the vehicle.

To select the optimal steering wheel position, move the locking handle down…
