Disconnect the upper and lower thermostat hoses (see Replacing the thermostat).
Remove the alternator belt (see Replacing the alternator drive belt).
We disconnect the generator adjustment bar and loosen its lower fastening (see Removal the generator). We move the generator to the mudguard.

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the three bolts and remove the coolant pump drive pulley.

Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the two nuts securing the pipe that drains liquid from the heater radiator, and also loosen the nut that secures the pipe to the exhaust manifold (see Replacing intake and exhaust manifold gaskets).

Using a 13 mm spanner, unscrew the three bolts (one on top and two on the bottom) fastening the pump to the cylinder block...

...and remove the coolant pump.
A sealing gasket is installed between the pump and the block.

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the four nuts...

...and remove the pump cover assembly. There is a sealing gasket installed between the cover and the housing.
We assemble the pump with a new cover and new sealing gaskets. We install it on the engine in the reverse order.
You can replace the pump cover without removing its housing from the engine. To do this, drain the coolant and remove only the pump cover, as indicated above, leaving the pump housing on the cylinder block. Install the new cover in the reverse order.
