Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Drain the coolant (see "Coolant - replacement").
3. Remove the instrument panel (see "Instrument panel - removal and installation").
4. Disconnect the two heater radiator hoses from the tap (see "Heater tap - removal and installation").
5. Disconnect the power supply wire connectors and remove the electric fan ground wire from the heater mounting stud (see "Electric heater fan - removal and installation").
6. Move the lower air duct to the side.

7. With a socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the four nuts securing the heater (two on the right and two on the left sides).

8. Remove the heater assembly.

Installation
1. Install the heater in the reverse order.
2. Connect the heater radiator hoses to the tap and tighten the clamps that secure them.
3. Fill the engine cooling system with liquid (see "Coolant - replacement").
4. Check for leaks from the heater tap and hoses. If necessary, tighten the hose clamps.
