Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Drain the coolant from the engine (see "Coolant - replacement").
3. Remove the right and left lining of the instrument panel console (see "Dashboard - removal and installation").
Warning! When performing the following operation, note that a small amount of coolant remains in the heater core. Therefore, lay a rag under the radiator hoses in advance.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamps for fastening the inlet and outlet hoses and remove them from the tap nozzles.
5. In the engine compartment, use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two clamps and disconnect the hoses from the heater tap nozzles.
6. socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the heater radiator valve to the engine shield.
7. In the passenger compartment, remove the heater tap.
8. Use pliers to remove the latch of the thrust shell.
9. Disconnect the rod from the crane lever.
10. On the other side of the faucet, remove the rubber and steel washers from the nozzles.
Installation
1. Install the washers on the new heater tap.
2. Install the faucet in reverse order.
3. Fully open the tap (the lower lever of the control unit for the ventilation and heating system is shifted to the red sector until it stops).
4. Fill the engine cooling system with liquid (see "Coolant - replacement").
5. We check the absence of fluid leaks from the tap and the connection points.
6. Install the lining of the instrument panel console.
