Rear window wiper. Consists of a 471.3730 gear motor, a lever and a brush. The lever with the brush is laid on the right in the direction of vehicle travel. The gear motor has a thermal bimetallic fuse for overload protection. The rear window washer electric motor, combined with the pump, is the same as the windshield washer. It is mounted on a bracket to the left side panel of the body.
The wiring diagram for the rear window wiper and washer is shown in Figure 164. The wiper is turned on by a key switch located on the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. When the key is in the middle position, only the wiper is turned on, and when the key is fully pressed, (the position is not fixed) the rear window washer is also turned on.

The design of the wiper motor allows it to be disassembled to eliminate minor faults (collector cleaning, etc.). The disassembly and assembly methods are similar to those described above for the windshield wiper gear motor. For the rear window wiper, with a gear motor load of 0.49 N·m, a supply voltage of 14 V and an ambient temperature of (25±10)°C, the number of double strokes of the gear motor shaft in 1 min should be 50±5, and the current consumption should not exceed 2 A.
Rear window heating
Some vehicles may be equipped with a heated rear window. The heating element is switched on using auxiliary relay 6, installed under the instrument panel on the left side. The relay characteristics are given in the "Lighting and signaling" subsection.
Cigarette lighter
The cigarette lighter type 11.3725 has protection against long-term (over 30 s) switching on the heating element. Protection is provided by a fusible washer, fixed to the insulator on the back of the cigarette lighter. When overheated, the washer melts and short-circuits the central contact of the cigarette lighter to the "ground". As a result, fuse No.10 burns out, and the cigarette lighter turns off.
