Removal
1. Remove the steering mechanism (see "Steering gear - removal and installation").
2. Disconnect the steering rods from the steering mechanism (see "Steering rods - removal and installation").
3. Remove the rubber support from the right end of the steering mechanism.

4. Using side cutters, cut through the two plastic clamps securing the protective cover of the steering gear.
5. Remove the protective cover from the steering gear housing.
Installation
1. Place FIOL-1 grease into the internal cavity of the steering gear housing.
2. Put the protective cover on the steering gear housing. Fix it with new clamps.
3. Install the tie rods on the steering mechanism (see "Steering rods - removal and installation").
4. Install the steering mechanism on the car (see "Steering gear - removal and installation").
