To carry out the work, an inspection pit or overpass is required.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front wheel (see "Wheel - replacement").
3. Press out the outer tie rod end pin from the steering knuckle hole (see "Tie Rod End - Replacement") without removing the finger from the fist hole.
4. In the engine compartment, use a socket or open-end wrench by 10 mm we unscrew the two nuts of the upper fastening of the protective screen.
5. Using the same key, unscrew the nut of the lower screen mount.
6. Remove the screen from the studs and take it out of the engine compartment.
7. Using a slotted screwdriver, bend back the edges of the locking plate of the bolts securing the left and right rods.
8. Head by 22 mm we unscrew the bolt securing the left rod to the steering mechanism and loosen the bolt securing the right rod.
9. Remove the left tie rod mounting bolt and turn the bolt plates down.
10. Remove the left rod into the mudguard hole.
We remove the right rod in a similar manner.
Installation
1. Measure the length of the removed rod (distance between the center of the hole in the rubber-metal bushing of the inner end of the rod and the center of the plug of the hole in the ball pin).
2. By rotating the connecting sleeve of the new rod, we make its length equal to the length of the removed rod.
Warning: Before adjusting the length of the rod, make sure that the rod and its end are screwed into the coupling an equal number of turns.
3. Install the rod in the reverse order.
4. Tighten the adjusting sleeve locknuts to a torque of 121-149.4 N·m (12.3-15.2 kgf·m).
5. Tighten and cotter pin the tie rod end pin bolt to a torque of 27.1-33.4 N·m (2.8-3.4 kgf·m).
6. Tighten the bolts securing the rods to the steering mechanism to a torque of 70-86 N·m (7.1-8.6 kgf·m) after installing the vehicle on the wheels.

7. Bend the edges of the stop plate.
8. Install the protective screen.
Warning! After replacing the traction, wheel alignment must be adjusted at a service station.
