Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Lift the protective cover of the windshield wiper arm mounting nut.
3. With a socket wrench by 10 mm we unscrew the nut securing the windshield wiper arm...
...and remove the lever.
4. Remove the protective cap.
Recommendation: Replace the damaged cap with a new one.
5. Key by 24 mm we unscrew the nut that secures the gear motor to the luggage compartment door.
6. Remove the washer and gasket.
Recommendation: Replace the damaged gasket with a new one.

7. Open the luggage compartment door and remove its interior trim (see "Trunk door trim - removal and installation").
8. Disconnect the motor-reducer wiring harness connector.
9. Unscrew the two bolts securing the gear motor and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation
We install the windshield wiper in the reverse order.
