Note: You can check the serviceability of the windshield washer pump by applying 12 V voltage directly from the battery to its outputs. A defective pump must be replaced.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
Tip: If there is a lot of anti-freeze liquid in the tank, then in order to save money, you can remove the washer tank and, without removing the electric pump from it, pour the liquid into the canister.
2. Disconnect two wire blocks from the electric pump (having previously marked the block connected to the output "+"; she is usually white) and elastic tube.
3. Prying with a screwdriver, remove the electric pump from the hole in the tank.
4. Check the condition of the rubber seal installed in the tank opening. If replacement is necessary, remove the seal and install a new one.
Similarly, remove the rear window washer pump.
Installation
Install the windshield washer pump in reverse order.
