Replacing the lamp
1. To ensure that the hazard warning button is in the up position, turn on the hazard warning lights.
2. Pull up and remove the button from the switch.

Warning: When performing the following operation, be careful not to crush the lamp bulb.
3. Using tweezers, remove the faulty lamp from the switch.

4. Install a new lamp into the socket.
5. Install the button on the switch (in this case, the slots on its leg should be facing the clamps located inside the switch), and press the button until it locks into place.
Removal
1. Remove the lower steering column trim and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the hazard warning light switch (see "Decorative steering column trims - removal and installation").
2. Turn the switch until one of the switch latches aligns with the slot in the hole, and press the other latcher, and remove the switch from the upper steering column cover.

Installation
