We replace the cable if it breaks, gets stuck in the sheath or is stretched excessively.
Removal
1. For ease of work, remove the air filter (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
2. Loosen the tightening and unscrew the clutch cable adjusting nut a few turns (see above, "Clutch release drive - adjustment").
3. Remove the end of the cable sheath from the slot in the bracket (for clarity, the battery is removed in the photo).

4. Disconnect the cable leash from the clutch release fork lever.
5. In the passenger compartment, under the dashboard, with pliers (with narrow lips) remove the spring retaining clip of the cable end.
6. Remove the cable tip from the clutch pedal pin.
Warning! There is a polyethylene sleeve on the pedal pin, do not lose it.
7. In the engine compartment, remove the cable from the hole in the bulkhead.
Installation
We install the cable in the reverse order.
We adjust the tension of the cable (see above, "Clutch release drive - adjustment").
