Tip: The operation may be required when repairing the engine and its systems. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to remove the filter together with the mass air flow sensor and the air supply hose to the throttle valve.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance").
2. Disconnect the block of wires from the mass air flow sensor and loosen the clamp of the air supply hose to the throttle.
3. Remove the tip of the air intake hose from the bracket.
4. socket wrench by 10 mm with an extension, unscrew the two bolts that secure the rubber support brackets to the body panel.
5. We remove the base of the rubber stand from the hole in the bracket attached to the battery shelf.
6. We take out the brackets of the other two rubber supports from under the hood lock rod and remove the air filter assembly with the hose and the mass air flow sensor.
Installation
1. We remove the rubber stand of the rear mounting of the air filter from the hole in the housing. Replace damaged rack.
2. Use a slotted screwdriver to fill the rear rubber strut into the hole in the bracket.
3. Wet the rubber stand with soapy water. We install the air filter housing in place so that the rack enters the hole intended for it, and the brackets of the front rubber struts are located under the hood lock rod. Pressing down on the filter housing, pull the stand up with pliers until the housing is fixed in the annular groove of the stand.
4. We connect the air supply hose to the throttle valve to the mass air flow sensor.
5. Connect the wiring harness block to the mass air flow sensor.
6. Fix the hose tip in the bracket.
