If coolant is leaking from the heater, the radiator is leaking and needs to be replaced.
You will need a screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «–» battery.
2. Drain the coolant from the engine cooling system with the heater valve fully open (see «Coolant replacement»).
3. Remove the instrument panel (see «Removal and installation of the instrument panel»).
4. On the right side of the heater, remove the screw that secures the clamp of the glass heating damper rod.
5. Turn out three screws of fastening of a radiator.
6. Take out a radiator from the heater case.
7. Loosen the clamps and disconnect both hoses from the heater tap nozzles from inside the passenger compartment under the instrument panel.
8. Loosen the hose clamps and remove them from the radiator pipes.
9. If the radiator is heavily soiled, clean it with a bristle brush. Replace leaking radiator.
10. Install the heater core in the reverse order of removal.
