1. Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the instrument panel shield (see "Removal and installation the instrument panel shield").
3. Remove the controller from the bracket, as well as the relay and fuse holders (see "Replacing fuses and relays of the engine management system", "Removal and installation the controller").
4. Remove the housing of the central nozzles of the heating and ventilation system from the socket in the instrument panel.

5. Remove the screws securing the bracket to the instrument panel crossbar on the right…

6. …and on the left.

7. Remove the two screws of the lower bracket mount on the left…

8. …and the right side.

9. Remove the screw securing the bracket to the instrument panel on the right…

10. …and on the left side…

11. …and remove the bracket.

12. Remove the headlight range control knob…

13. ...and the instrument cluster lighting switch handle by pulling them towards you.

14. Overcoming the resistance of the clamps, remove the headlight range control and light switch trim.

15. Unscrew the screws and remove the light guide of the headlight range control scale…

16. … remove the light guide lamp socket and disconnect the connector with wires from it.

17. Unscrew the nut securing the instrument lighting switch to the instrument panel…

18. … remove the switch from under the instrument panel…

19. …and disconnect the wiring harness from the switch.

20. Unscrew the nut securing the headlight hydraulic corrector master cylinder to the instrument panel…

21. …and remove it from under the dashboard.

22. Remove the steering column trims (see "Removal and installation steering column trims").
23. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the steering column switches and the ignition switch (lock).
24. Remove the two bolts and two nuts securing the steering column to the body…

Note: The steering column is secured with bolts with self-shearing heads. If the screw heads have already been sheared off, the screws can be removed with pliers or a sharp chisel and hammer.
25. …and lower the steering column down.

26. Remove the screw of the upper left…

27. …and the lower left instrument panel mounts.

28. Similarly, unscrew the upper and lower screws securing the instrument panel on the right side.
29. Remove the screw securing the instrument panel to the body.

30. Disconnect the connector with wires from the portable lamp socket.

31. Disconnect the immobilizer indicator wiring harness connectors.

32. Disconnect the connectors with wires from the glove compartment light.

33. Disconnect the wiring harness from the glove compartment light switch.
34. Remove two screws…

35. …and remove the instrument panel.

36. Install the instrument panel in the reverse order of removal.
