Removal
1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or overpass (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the additional muffler from the main one (see "Additional muffler - removal and installation").
3. Using a slotted screwdriver, straighten the hooks of the main muffler suspension belts and disconnect them from the body brackets.

On a vehicle with an injection system, disconnect the hooks of the A belts of the main muffler suspension and remove the cotter pin B from the bracket.

4. Key by 7 mm unscrew the bolt that secures the main muffler to the cushion and remove the bolt. If necessary, treat the threads with penetrating lubricant.

5. Remove the main muffler.
6. To replace the cushion, clean the connection and treat it with penetrating lubricant.
7. Key by 7 mm we unscrew the nut that secures the cushion to the body bracket, holding the bolt from turning with a wrench of the same size.

8. Remove the pillow.
Installation
1. Apply graphite grease to the junction of the main and additional mufflers, as well as to the threads of the bolts.
2. If necessary, replace the belts and cushion with new ones.
3. Installation of the main muffler is performed in the reverse order.
