Attention! We carry out the work on an inspection pit or lift.
We disconnect the fastening of the main muffler to the additional one.
Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the nut on the clamp bolt for the main and additional muffler pipes, holding the bolt with a wrench of the same size.
We take out the bolt.
Using a slotted screwdriver, loosen the clamp.
We move the clamp along the pipe towards the additional muffler.
Using a screwdriver, we detach the front… from the bracket
…and the rear suspension cushions of the main muffler.
Turning the muffler left and right,…
…we disconnect the pipes of the main and additional mufflers.
We remove the muffler.
To replace the muffler suspension cushion, remove it from engagement with the bracket (see photos 5–6).
Using a screwdriver, we pry the pillow up and move it along the guides..
…and we shoot.
We install the main muffler in the reverse order, making sure that the elements of the exhaust system do not touch the body during vibrations.
