Changing the oil in the lubrication system (VAZ-2105)

Change the oil when the engine is warm. Unscrew the drain plug of the engine crankcase, drain the oil into a container and wait 10 minutes until it drains completely. Screw the plug back in and, without removing the oil filter, pour in VNIINP-FD flushing oil up to the min mark (2.9 l) on the oil level indicator. Start the engine and let it run on this oil for 10 minutes at minimum engine crankshaft speed.

Drain the flushing oil completely, remove the old oil filter using tool A.60312, install a new one (wrap only by hand) and fill in 3.75 liters of oil, depending on the season.
