The drive shaft is installed in a hole made in the front part of the cylinder block.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the ignition distributor (see "Ignition distributor - removal and installation").
3. Remove the fuel pump and pusher (see "Fuel pump - removal and installation").
4. Remove the oil pump drive gear (see "Oil pump drive gear - replacement").
5. Remove the auxiliary drive shaft sprocket (see "Timing Chain - Replacement").
6. With a socket wrench by 10 mm using an extension, unscrew the two bolts securing the auxiliary drive shaft thrust flange and remove the flange.

7. Remove the roller from the technological hole in the cylinder block.

Installation
1. Installation of all removed parts is carried out in reverse order.
2. Adjust the chain tension (see "Timing Chain - Replacement").
3. Adjust the tension of the generator drive belt (see "Generator Drive Belt - Tension Adjustment and Replacement").
4. Check and, if necessary, adjust the ignition timing angle (see "Ignition timing - checking and adjustment").
