...we insert them into the technological holes and, by screwing them in, move the drum from the landing belt of the axle shaft flange.
If the drum is very "stuck" to the seat, carefully knock it off with a hammer through a wooden block, having previously moistened the seat with kerosene or WD-40 liquid.
We remove the brake drum.
We clean the internal surfaces of the drum from corrosion and wear products.
If the working surface is significantly worn and its diameter increases to 251 mm, we replace the drum.
We install the drum in the reverse order of removal, having previously lubricated the axle shaft seat belt with grease (graphite or SHRUS-4) – this will make it easier to remove the drum later.
