We take out the cotter pin and use a 22 mm wrench to unscrew the ball joint pin mounting nut.
With a puller (see Applications) we press out the rod end pin from the steering knuckle lever.
It is more convenient to unscrew the nuts securing the rods to the steering knuckle and to the pendulum arm using a socket wrench from the engine compartment.

...we knock out the pin by hitting its end with a hammer through a suitable rod. In order not to damage the thread on the pin, we do not remove the nut, but only unscrew it until the ends of the pin and the nut coincide.
Before replacing the tip or the entire side rod assembly, measure the length of the old rod (distance between the centers of the plugs).
The new rod should be the same length. To do this, either screw one end into the threaded coupling, or adjust the length of the rod by turning the threaded coupling. Do not forget to tighten the clamps on the coupling after adjustment.
After installing new tie rods, the wheel alignment angles should be checked.
