Remove the right front wheel. Press the pins out of the lever (see Steering rod replacement).
Two keys «at 17» we unscrew the nuts of the two bolts of the bracket on the right side member of the body.
The lower bolt can be removed immediately, and the upper one is removed together with the bracket.
We take out the cotter pin and two keys «at 19» unscrew the top nut from the axis of the pendulum lever.
We take out the axle with the lever from the bracket.
The bracket has two plastic bushings (plain bearings). At both ends of the axle there are two flats on which lock washers are mounted. Rubber seals are put on the shoulders of the bracket and the outer part of the bushings, which are held by lock washers.
The plastic bushings must sit tightly in the bracket, and the lever axle must not have radial play in the bushings. If the bushings are worn out, replace them with new ones. During assembly, we put Litol-24 or Fiol grease into the bracket of the pendulum lever.
Having tightened the upper nut, we check the moment of turning the lever axle in the bracket. The lever should rotate when a load of 1–2 kgf is applied to its free end.
Install the swing arm bracket in the reverse order of removal.
