Scheme for switching on outdoor lighting
1 - front lights with side light lamps; 2 - storage battery; 3 - generator; 4 - engine compartment lamp; 5 - fuse block; 6 - brake signal switch; 7 - socket for a portable lamp; 8 - reverse light switch; 9 - ignition switch; 10 - outdoor lighting switch; 11 - speedometer with signaling device for turning on the side light; 12 - trunk lighting lamp; 13 - rear lights with lamps for side light, brake signal and reversing light; 14 - license plate lights.
The front marker lamps are installed in the headlights (sidelights) along with direction indicators.
Rear combination lamps combine position lamps (in the extreme sections, closer to the license plate), reversing lights, brake lights (located in the middle sections) and turn signal (in the outer sections). The lenses of the direction indicator sections are orange, the reversing lights are white, and the rest are red. The license plate is illuminated by two lights installed in the additional sections of the rear lights.
The brake light switch, mounted on the pedal assembly bracket, is activated when the brake pedal is depressed. The brake signal circuit is connected to the battery, bypassing the ignition switch.
The reversing light switch, located in the gearbox housing on the right side, only works when the ignition is on.
Interior lighting fixtures with built-in switches are located on the central pillars of the car body. Additional switches are installed in the doorways on the racks. When opening any of the doors, the interior lighting turns on regardless of the position of the switches in the ceiling lamps. The interior lighting circuits are always energized. On the front panel in the engine compartment there is a lamp for lighting the engine compartment. It only works when the exterior lights are on and the hood is open (the lamp holder has a switch).
