Replacing lamps (VAZ-2107)

To replace the bulbs in the headlight, turn the casing 2 (fig. 65) counterclockwise and remove it. To replace the headlight bulb, remove block 2 (Fig. 66), remove the ends of spring retainer 4 from the grooves, turn the retainer to the lower position and remove socket 3 with the headlight bulb as an assembly. Change the parking light bulb by removing socket 1 as an assembly with the bulb. To replace the turn signal bulb, turn socket 5 counterclockwise and remove it from the socket.



To replace the lamp in the rear light, unscrew the two screws securing the cover from the inside of the rear wall of the trunk, press the plastic clips in the center of the light and remove the printed circuit board with the lamps.

To replace the bulbs in the license plate lights located in the trunk lid, unscrew the screws 1 (Fig. 67) securing the light, remove it from the socket and remove the diffuser 2.





If it is necessary to replace the lamp in the interior light, use a screwdriver to carefully pry up the diffuser 1 (Fig. 68) from the side opposite switch 2 and remove the diffuser.



To replace the lamp in the open door signal light, unscrew screws 2 (Fig. 69) and remove socket 3 with the lamp.

Replace the burnt-out bulb in the side turn signal (Fig. 70) after removing the socket with the bulb from the inside of the wing.




To replace the bulb in the rear window heating switch, remove the frame with the switch by the flange, disconnect the connector and, pressing the latches, remove the switch from the frame. Holding the switch in a vertical position to prevent the contacts from falling out, remove the key.

To access the lamp in the hazard warning switch, unscrew the switch button.

If you are replacing a light bulb in the cigarette lighter, remove insert 32 (fig. 4) and remove the protective cover of the lamp from the cigarette lighter housing.

To replace the bulb in the instrument cluster, remove the plug 34 (fig. 4), unscrew the screw securing the shield, remove the handles from the heating control levers, unscrew the speedometer cable by pulling out the right edge of the shield, then pull out the shield together with the instrument cluster by moving it to the right and towards you.
