Before starting work, remove the air filter.
Periodically clean the carburetor fuel filter and the fuel pump mesh filter.
When the filters are dirty, fuel stops flowing into the carburetor.

Loosen the clamp and...

...disconnect the fuel supply hose from the fuel supply fitting on the carburetor.

Unscrew the fuel supply nipple and...

...remove it from the carburetor cover.

Remove the fuel filter from the fitting.

Wash the filter with gasoline or acetone and blow it with compressed air. Replace the damaged filter. Install the fuel filter in the reverse order of removal.

Loosen the fuel pump cover mounting bolt.

Remove the cover from the fuel pump.

Remove the mesh filter, wash it with gasoline and blow it with compressed air. Replace the damaged filter. Install the mesh filter in the reverse order of removal. Then install the air filter.
