Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Unscrew the two nuts securing the master brake cylinder to the vacuum booster housing (see above, "Master Brake Cylinder - Removal and Installation").
3. Carefully, without bending the tubes too much, move the cylinder forward and remove it from the vacuum booster studs.

4. Remove the check valve fitting from the vacuum booster hole.

5. Remove the spring retainer from the vacuum booster rod pin and remove the pin.

6. Unscrew the two nuts of the left...

...and two nuts of the right mounting bracket of the vacuum booster to the car body.

7. Remove the amplifier assembly with the bracket.

8. Remove the rubber seal from the vacuum booster rod.

9. Key by 17 mm we unscrew the two nuts securing the bracket to the vacuum booster and remove the bracket.

Installation
1. Install the amplifier in reverse order.
2. Install the master brake cylinder in place.
3. Check the operation of the vacuum booster (see "Brake booster - check").
