Adjustment
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Measure the free travel of the brake pedal (see "Brake pedal - checking free play"). If the free play value does not correspond to the required value, adjust its position.
3. Remove the wire blocks from the terminals of the brake light switch.

4. With an open-end wrench by 19 mm loosen one of the two locknuts of the switch. The brake light switch also acts as a stop for the brake pedal in its upper position. To reduce free travel, screw the nut (1) onto the switch and tighten the nut (2). To increase free travel, unscrew the nut (2) and tighten the nut (1).

5. By pressing the brake pedal several times, we check the operation of the brake lights.
