To replace the silent block, it is not necessary to remove the beam from the car. We replace the silent blocks one by one, first at one, then at the other beam arm.
To complete the work you will need:
- car stand;
- universal cup puller.
Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Place the car on a secure stand and remove the rear left wheel (see "Wheel - replacement").
3. Disconnect the elastic lever of the pressure regulator from the earring (see "Rear Brake Fluid Pressure Regulator - Removal and Installation").
4. Release the left parking brake cable from the two cable mounting brackets to the left rear suspension arm (see "Parking brake cables - removal and installation").
5. With a socket wrench by 19 mm unscrew the nut of the bolt securing the lever to the body bracket, holding the bolt with a spanner by 19 mm.
6. Remove the bolt. Pull the lever down (without tightening the brake hose) and install the puller cup on the outside and the special washer on the inside of the lever.
7. By turning the nut of the puller bolt, we press the silent block into the cup.
Note: The silent block has a stop on one edge, and therefore it must be pressed out only towards the vehicle threshold.
Installation
1. Apply soapy water to the cylindrical surface of the new silent block.
2. Install the puller cup on the inside of the lever.
3. Rotating the nut of the puller bolt, press the new silent block into the lever until it stops.
4. Install the lever into the body bracket and secure it with a bolt and nut, without tightening it.
Note: The lever mounting bolt is inserted into the body bracket from the side of the vehicle threshold.
5. Insert the elastic pressure regulator lever into the earring and secure it with the stopper (see "Rear Brake Fluid Pressure Regulator - Removal and Installation").
6. Secure the handbrake cable to the brackets.
7. Install the wheel and remove the car from the stands.
8. Press the rear of the car several times to adjust the suspension.
9. Finally tighten the lever mounting bolt nut to a torque of 66.6-82.3 N·m (6.8-8.4 kgf·m).
10. We replace the silent block of the second lever in the same way.
