To complete the work you will need:
- height adjustable stand (screw or hydraulic jack);
- inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Engine Mudguard - Removal and Installation").
3. Place a height-adjustable support (jack) under the engine oil pan.
4. Key by 17 mm unscrew the nut of the bolt securing the support to the body, holding the bolt with a second wrench by 17 mm. We remove the bolt from the support.
5. With a spanner by 17 mm unscrew the four nuts securing the support to the gearbox (one of the bolts also secures the ignition module bracket).
6. Remove the front support.
Installation
We install the support in the reverse order.
